I have almost lost count of the times I visited Lansdowne. This is a place which holds special place in my heart; that is for sure. Actually, I have visited the place 12 times already, with this visit being the 13th!
Amazingly though, as much as I am familiar with the place, I keep discovering new things and new places within this small cantonment that keeps me glued to this beautiful, almost heavenly place. This past weekend I rode to Lansdowne yet again with a few biker buddies and close friends in real life.
It was a wonderful experience, an experience filled with joy, deja-vu and also a lot of hopes – hopes that perhaps after this ride, after I travel to Lansdowne for the “nth” time, I’ll find that peace of mind, that “something” which I am looking for – perhaps that perfect world which I am in search of.
Anyhow, here is the route if you want to go to Lansdowne from Delhi.
Delhi – Ghaziabad – Meerut – Bijnaur – Najibabad – Kotdwara – Duggada – Lansdowne.
And, presenting the pictures that I managed to click during the latest visit to the place. If you are looking for a soothing place, a place that is sure to rejuvenate your senses, and it is not far from Delhi, then Lansdowne is the place for you. Go there, enjoy, and relax under the nature’s immensely beautiful vistas. I am sure you would forget everything else.

The Riders.

Hi Shawaiz, I hardly edit my photographs except for a little brightness and contrast adjustments. That’s all the “editing” that I like to do on photos. 🙂
